5.2 Cancellation and Changes by Attendees

No Cash Refunds: All event registrations are strictly non-refundable once payment has been received, regardless of circumstance. This includes, without limitation, cancellations due to personal, professional, or travel-related reasons, and any circumstances arising from geopolitical events, conflict, travel disruption, or force majeure.

Booking Transfers: Attendees may request to transfer their registration to a different attendee (substitution permitted without charge up to 7 days before the event, submitted in writing to office@privatemarkets-group.com); or to a future Private Markets Group event of equivalent value, subject to availability and written approval.

Credit Notes: In exceptional circumstances and entirely at our sole discretion, we may issue a credit note to the value of the original registration fee. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be applied toward any future Private Markets Group event or service.

No cash refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation by Private Markets Group Ltd. The options set out above represent the full extent of our financial obligations to attendees in respect of registration fees paid.

5.4 Event Changes

We reserve the right to modify event programmes, speakers, venues, or dates. Where material changes are made, we will communicate these to registered attendees promptly. Such changes do not entitle attendees to a cash refund.

5.5 Force Majeure

Private Markets Group Ltd shall not be liable for the cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, or modification of any event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or extreme weather events; government restrictions, regulatory changes, or public health emergencies; geopolitical instability, armed conflict, war, or civil unrest; international travel disruptions or restrictions affecting delegates, speakers, or key participants; venue unavailability, fire, flood, or damage to event premises; national mourning periods or other unforeseen national events; or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Private Markets Group Ltd.

In the event of a force majeure cancellation or postponement, Private Markets Group Ltd will notify all registered delegates and confirmed speakers as promptly as reasonably possible; communicate alternative dates at the earliest opportunity where postponement occurs; and offer registered attendees the options set out in Sections 5.3 and 5.6 in lieu of a cash refund.
